Dawn O. Whitfield has been a nurse for over 30 years, focusing her career in nursing education for the past 20. She has held previous educator positions as Director of nursing programs, faculty member, adjunct clinical instructor, and manager of education in acute and long-term care settings. She currently works as a nurse educator consultant for Kaplan North America serving community colleges, universities, and hospitals across the country.
