Author Bio:

Jennifer is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner and nursing educator, with a specialty background in cardiology. She has been a nurse for 22 years, a nurse practitioner for 15, and has worked in nursing education for the last decade. She is an avid proponent of providing compassionate, patient-centered care, lifestyle modification to prevent and manage disease, and is an advocate for women with heart disease. She has a background in internal medicine, electrophysiology, heart failure management, cardiovascular surgery, and interventional cardiology. Jennifer loves spending time with her family, traveling, watching her children play sports, and volunteering in her community.
